Display Calibration – Calibrating and profiling monitors with a colorimeter for accurate on-screen previews.

ICC Color Management for Design Files – Applying correct color management in design files.

Print Color Verification – Evaluating print output with a colorimeter to ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO/G7+).
Workshop Highlights
For designers, mastering color management ensures that the colors designers see on screen are accurately reproduced in print output. It is essential in reducing errors, reprints, and client miscommunication. This workshop offers a practical, hands-on practice to implement color management from graphic design on display through to print output verification. Participants will gain critical knowledge and skills to execute predictable color across the workflow.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to understand the fundamentals of color management. Apply best practices in calibrating and profiling display, preparing creative files for predictable print output, and implement industry standards for print color verification.
Note: Attendees are required to bring their own laptops. Adobe Photoshop must be installed for hands-on exercises.

Workshop Highlights
In this 3-hour workshop, participants will hand-paint a porcelain plate uniquely their own. The instructor will begin with the basics of ceramic painting, introducing glaze color coordination, composition methods, and brushstroke techniques. You will be encouraged to unleash your creativity, transforming everyday inspirations into one-of-a-kind artistic tableware.
After the session, the plates will be kiln-fired at high temperatures, fixing the colors permanently. The finished porcelain pieces will not only preserve your artistic expression but also serve as lasting works of functional aesthetics.
